The Country of Origin (COOL) toolset is designed to allow users to track COOL information from purchase through sale, maintain a traceable audit path for the product, and to provide COOL labels to customers.
The Methods of Production code (i.e. "Wild Caught Product of", "Imported from", "Processed in", "Packed in", etc.) plus the Country code work in tandem to form the COOL Identity Label, which can then be associated with items and lots.
EXAMPLE: By creating country codes of "ARG" & "USA" and method of production codes of "Product of'" & "Processed in", you can create a COOL Identity "Product of Argentina, Processed in the USA".
Netâ˘Yield makes it easy to build COOL identity designations. These COOL identities can then be assigned to lots and items in order to identify and label products to meet the U.S. Department of Agriculture regulations for Country of Origin labeling and bio-terrorism traceability.
When you first enter the COOL Identity option, a Select An Option window will appear allowing you to exit, add a COOL identity, print a list of COOL identities, or select an existing COOL identity from the system in order to delete it.
